## Bell Pepper Spread, Vegetarian (Thermomix) ### Ingredients - 60 g sunflower seeds - 3 red bell peppers, chopped - 1 tomato - 2 red onions, halved - 1 clove garlic - 1/2 small apple, chopped - 1 heaped tsp salt - 1 tsp sugar - 20 g red balsamic vinegar - 20 g sunflower oil ### Instructions Place the sunflower seeds in the mixing bowl and grind for 5-7 seconds/speed 7 until very fine. Transfer the ground sunflower seeds to a separate bowl. Place the bell peppers, tomato, onions, garlic clove, apple, salt, sugar, and vinegar in the mixing bowl and chop for 10 seconds/speed 7. Place the simmering basket on the mixing bowl lid to prevent splattering and cook for 35 minutes/Varoma/speed 2.5. Add the oil and ground sunflower seeds and blend gradually, increasing the speed from 4 to 6 to 8 for 10 seconds. You may need to scrape down the sides of the bowl occasionally.
